Job Summary

The Advancement Data, Insights & Engagement Manager leads the strategic management and use of Project for Pride in Living’s (PPL) fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge) while advancing data-driven fundraising through prospect research, donor insights, and pipeline development. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system optimization, while also playing a critical role in identifying and developing new donor prospects, strengthening donor pipelines, and providing actionable insights that inform cultivation and stewardship strategies.

What You’ll Do

CRM Management & Data Integrity

  • Serve as administrator and subject matter expert for Raiser’s Edge, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely data entry and maintenance
  • Manage gift entry, pledge tracking, reporting, and data hygiene processes
  • Oversee data standards and ensure consistency across fundraising and communications systems
  • Lead monthly and annual reconciliation of Raiser’s Edge with financial systems 

Prospect Research & Pipeline Development

  • Lead ongoing prospect research efforts to identify and qualify new individual and institutional donor prospects 
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective donors aligned with fundraising priorities 
  • Proactively surface new opportunities for donor engagement based on research and data trends 

Donor Insights & Engagement Strategy

  • Analyze donor behavior, giving trends, and engagement patterns to provide actionable insights 
  • Partner with fundraising and communications staff to align outreach with donor data and engagement history 

Pipeline Tracking & Movement

  • Manage and actively track donor pipelines across fundraising strategies, including major gifts and annual giving 

Donor Acknowledgment & Stewardship Coordination

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure donors receive timely and relevant touchpoints following gifts or key interactions 
  • Manage and continuously improve the donor acknowledgment process to ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful recognition 

Campaign Support & Segmentation

  • Support data preparation for fundraising appeals and campaigns
  • Track and analyze campaign performance across segments 

Reporting, Analytics & Systems

  • Create and manage reports, dashboards, and queries to support fundraising performance and decision-making 
  • Maximize Raiser’s Edge functions and modules for optimal use, including understanding and use of AI tools 

What You Bring

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights 
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM platform required
  • Experience with prospect research tools and methodologies preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills 

Education/ Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in fundraising, nonprofit operations, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM/database management, fundraising operations, prospect research, or related work

Hours: Full time, Exempt

Salary: $55,000-$60,000/annually
