Position Summary 

PPL is seeking a dynamic Leasing and Training Manager to drive excellence across our Property Management portfolio. This strategic leadership role blends learning and development with leasing operations to enhance team performance, resident experience, and occupancy outcomes.

As the champion of training and development for the Property Management division, this person will design, implement, and sustain impactful learning programs that build staff expertise, strengthen affordable housing knowledge, and promote operational consistency across the portfolio. This person will play a key role in developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

✅What You’ll Do

Strategic Partnership & Organizational Impact

  • Partner with Property Management leadership to identify performance gaps and align learning strategies with operational goals
  • Translate portfolio needs into targeted development initiatives
  • Measure impact on occupancy, delinquency, and compliance

Leadership Development & Talent Pipeline

  • Design and lead a comprehensive Property Management onboarding and continuing education program
  • Develop programs focused on operational leadership and financial literacy
  • Coach and mentor emerging leaders

Property Management & Compliance Training & Leasing Management

  • Deliver training in affordable housing operations
  • Reinforce fair housing practices
  • Lead follow up and monitor leasing activity to improve conversion and occupancy
  • Ensure online listings, availability, pricing, and marketing sources are accurate and current

Learning Design, Delivery & Innovation

  • Lead full learning lifecycle from assessment to evaluation
  • Design instructor-led, e-learning, and blended programs

Learning Systems & Data-Driven Performance

  • Manage LMS and track participation through Yardi Aspire
  • Coordinate Yardi administration and property management system needs across departments

What You Bring

  • 3+ years in Learning & Development
  • 1+ years in leadership role
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills
  • Experience in multi-housing environments preferred
  • Experience in affordable housing preferred
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the portfolio

Minimum Technology Qualifications

  • Yardi Suite
  • Microsoft Office Suite
