Position Summary 

The Youth Services Coordinator plays an impactful role supporting children, teens, and their families within PPL’s housing communities. The position provides case management, youth programming, and family engagement, using a culturally inclusive and trauma‑informed, two‑generation approach. Our team responds to the unique cultural, economic, and social needs of youth and their parents, and understand the importance of utilizing individual’s unique strengths to help them meet their goals. 

✅What You’ll Do

Youth Programming

  • Design and facilitate six youth enrichment series per year, based on community input
  • Deliver project‑based programming or coordinate with community partners to provide workshops such as:
    • Art therapy
    • Cooking
    • Sports
    • Academic support
    • Health and development topics
  • Partner with Family Services Coordinators to co‑lead monthly family enrichment activities

Volunteer & Intern Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and collaborate with volunteers, work‑study students, and interns to support youth and family programming

Administrative & Organizational Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including:
  • Case notes
  • Incident reports
  • Attendance
  • Program evaluations
  • Program budget 

✅ What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with case management or providing direct services to youth
  • Experience working with children or youth affected by mental illness, chemical dependency, and/or homelessness
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate, track, and complete multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners
  • Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have valid drivers’ license and drive own vehicle from site to site

Education & Experience

  • A course of study in a health or human services-related field leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Associate degree; or
  • 1-3 years of experience with the target population served.

Hours: Full time, Non-Exempt

Salary: $22-$24 per hour DOQ
